Sabino Recovery specializes in the treatment of trauma and its resulting symptoms such as addictions, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. We know there are very real reasons driving these unhealthy behaviors and believe that traumatic experience is the root cause. Through the use of the our Sabino Model: Neuroscience Based Trauma Treatment™ , we address the root trauma early in treatment and simultaneously expose our residents to a consistent experience of staff who are empathetic, compassionate, and kind. This, in combination with our carefully selected, integrated and holistic treatments builds the new neural pathways that strengthen healthy self-perception, behavior, connection, and true healing.  For more information, visit

ASAP, the Adolescent Substance Abuse Program, has proven itself Arizona’s finest Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for the treatment of substance abuse in teens since 1992.  The ASAP IOP Program is owned and operated by three Phoenix-area psychologists:  Dr. Mark Rohde, Dr. Phil Lett, and Dr. Curtis Walling.   At ASAP teens age 12-18 attend group therapy three evenings per week for 10 weeks. Parents are required to attend one session each week on Parent Night.  Urine drug testing, family participation, drug education, coping skills training, homework assignments, involvement in community support, and an evidence-based treatment model are all critical components.  Thousands of families have found that the ASAP IOP Program can produce the “real world” lifestyle changes that yield lasting sobriety for teens and an improved quality of life for the entire family.

ASAP is in network with all major health insurance companies (note: ASAP is not an AHCCCS provider). The ASAP Program is found at three sites covering the Phoenix metro area:  Glendale, Mesa, and NE Phoenix/Scottsdale.  One phone number reaches all three sites: (602) 434-0249, and our very helpful website provides detailed information:
